Fill your home with the inviting, warm aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg, and spice with our easy-to-use Pumpkin Bread Mix. This comforting blend captures the essence of fall, allowing you to create a moist, tender, and flavorful loaf or a dozen standard-sized muffins with minimal effort.
You will need:
- 1 box Pumpkin Bread Mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup canned Pumpkin (1/2 of a 15 oz can) You can store leftover pumpkin in freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, combine bread mix, eggs, oil and pumpkin; stir until well blended.
Pour mixture into greased 5 x 8 loaf pan.
Bake 60 - 80 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Serving suggestions: Add 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts and 1/2 cup golden raisins. This bread freezes well for up to 2 months.
High Altitude Instructions: Add 1/2 cup flour and follow directions above, allowing longer baking time as needed.
