Our Chicken pot pie soup mix is a convenient, shelf-stable, or pre-packaged blend designed to mimic the creamy, savory flavors of a traditional chicken pot pie without the labor-intensive crust preparation.
You will need:
6-1/2 cups water
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 lb cooked chicken, diced
Directions: Add entire contents of the package to 6-1/2 cups of boiling water. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. In a separate frying pan, saute diced onion and garlic in olive oil until translucent. Set aside. After 20 minutes, stir in the cooked chicken and the onion/garlic mixture to the soup pot. Bring to a boil. Immediately reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer an additional 10 minutes.
